History

Founded in 1995 as a privately-held company, AccessMED created one of the first call centers to support unique pharmaceutical products with complex reimbursement needs, including cancer medications. Our reimbursement support programs continue to expand to meet the ever-changing needs of a dynamic market.

Our portfolio of products and services has grown to include prelaunch reimbursement mapping, internal reimbursement training for manufacturers, marketing support, and ad hoc consulting services.

In July 2006, AccessMED became an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of US Oncology, giving AccessMED the capacity to expand its infrastructure and increase the depth of its consulting services. We have access to the financial, logistical, technological, and strategic backing of the nation’s leading oncology services. With US Oncology’s distribution services and national oral oncology pharmacy, OncologyRx Care Advantage, AccessMED offers even more support services to ensure products get to the patients who need them.
